SNPs in the potato genome were identified by mapping transcripts from cultivated potato to the DM genome (Hamilton et al. 2011, Felcher et al. 2012) and by mapping whole genome shotgun reads of the heterozygous diploid RH89-039-16. Use this tool to search for SNPs based on genome location or annotated locus or transcript.
In the Potato Genome: Putative SSRs have been annotated in the DM genome. Click here to go to the Potato Genome Browser and select the region of the genome you wish to find SSRs. Or click below to launch the SSR Finder Tool for Pseudomolecules.
In Potato Genes: Putative SSRs have been annotated in both the PGSC and the ITAG gene models, use this tool to select your SSR motif, length, and output format.
